Sims 2: Pictures are overwriting and disappearing. :(
I've had this problem for a while, but it suddenly occurred to me to ask this forum for help.
When I first installed sims, as a normal sims game does, if you took one
picture it would be named "Snapshot", and if you took another it would
automatically be named "Snapshot (2)" and so on.
One day, all of my sims photos suddenly disappeared (which was rather upsetting
) and when I took pictures, they would all be named "Snapshot" and
overwrite one another unless I specifically renamed them. The only thing
I remember downloading that day was a lot full of sims from one of my
friends. She had the same picture problem since long before me, I sort
of thought she may have sent the problem through the lot somehow, but I
honestly don't know if that's even possible.
Is this maybe due to bad custom content? If so, How can I figure out the problem?
thank you.

Again, I don't know CC and mods with The Sims 2, but I will try to help you out.
I can see how that would be extremely annoying.
Try uninstalling all of the Sims you got, along with all of the content added by those Sims. Or Lots.
It could be a conflict with two pieces of CC, or mods.
It could be bad custom content.
So, I would suggest you attempt to remove whatever you downloaded that day. I am sorry if you were having fun with them, but that would be the only way.
If you have any more direct questions, go ahead and ask!
Thanks for asking here, btw.

Ask your friend when she got that proble, too. That might help if what worm said doesn't.
